SupaShopp ("SupaShopp", "we", "us") is an e-commerce platform operated by Proodent IT Solutions. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using SupaShopp you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your full name, email address, and a securely hashed password when you sign up.
• Store information — the store name, products, images, categories, delivery locations, branding, and contact details (e.g. WhatsApp number) that store owners add.
• Order information — when a customer checks out, the details they provide (name, phone, delivery location, notes) are sent directly to the store owner via WhatsApp. SupaShopp does not store completed order records on the customer's behalf.
• Payment information — subscription payments are processed by Paystack. We never see or store your full card details; we keep only a payment reference, amount, plan, and status.
• Technical data — basic request information (IP address, browser type) used for security, rate-limiting, and abuse prevention.

2. How we use your information

• To create and operate your account and store.
• To send essential transactional emails (email confirmation, password reset, billing).
• To process subscription payments and manage your plan.
• To secure the platform and prevent fraud and abuse.

3. Service providers

We share the minimum data necessary with trusted processors who help us run SupaShopp:

• Paystack — payment processing.
• Cloudflare R2 — secure image storage and content delivery.
• Resend — sending transactional emails.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in (authentication tokens) and to remember preferences such as your cart and brand colours. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and store data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your store, all associated data — including product images — is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted with TLS, and access to store data requires authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Your rights

You can access and update your information from your admin dashboard, change your email or password, or delete your store at any time. To request deletion of your account entirely, contact us.

8. Children

SupaShopp is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
